Yes, after 11 years with a beard, I decided I wanted to see what I looked like without it.
So while getting my hair cut, I had Tammy cut off my beard too. Then I finished the job
with the razor. It feels so strange. My face tingles and is cold when I am outside. I am
going to grow it back right away. Should be back in completely by Thanksgiving. I use to
shave twice a day when I was in the Army just to keep the 5 o'clock shadow off (at about noon).
The kids are a little freaked by me not having the beard. My youngest has never seen me shaved
(she is 11) and the others (12-15) don't remember seeing me this way before. Other than in
pictures that is. Everyone agrees that I should grow it back.
At least now I won't wonder any more. So take a good look. You might never see this sight
again in your life time.
