Glenn On Religion

I have always been a spiritual person in an inner way. I have always tried to follow the principals set forth in the Bible. Even before I seriously started studying the teachings within the Bible I had a feeling of what was right and wrong and I tried to do what was right. I often fell short and longed for a better understanding of things beyond what I could feel on my own or logically plot out.

My journey started when I was young. I was raised Catholic and my father became Seventh Day Adventist. I found truth in both of these religions but I could also find fault. I didn't find fault in the general teachings drawn from the Bible, but more from the human structure that was created with in the church structure. I thought there had to be something better so I begin to explore other churches and even other religions beyond Christianity.

I have studied with the Mormons, Protestants, Jews, Hindu, Buddhists and Jehovah Witnesses. I find truth in all of these places yet with organization comes human flaws and the desire for the many to impose interpretation and views on the few that may think differently.

The question came to me, "Will I be saved?" yet no answer followed. I knew that the time had come for me to stop wandering here and there looking for someone to give me the answers I was looking for. The time had come for me to find my own answers while learning from others yet not following blindly.

What I have learned and what I have yet to learn I would like to share. I am not going to give you the answers. No one can simply hand you the answers and say you are saved. Those that say they have the answers are either mistaken or telling what you want to hear to reach their own goals. What I can offer are the answers I have found for myself and guidelines that I use in my life coupled with the how and why I got to where I am. With this information and your own study you should be able to bring yourself to the path of salvation.

There are many Bible references online. There is an ON-LINE Bible here on this site. It has MP3 files for many of the books and chapters of the Bible. If you would like to experience it, simply visit the Bible page. To find others, visit Yahoo!

I will from time to time write and add to this colleciton. Your participation is not only welcome but required. Without your questions or comments I will not know what to add for at this point I am not a strong writer and can not easily produce works of this nature without knowing what is needed. So please write to me and ask anything or make any type of comment you wish. I will answer you back and I will also try to take your questions and comments and make this section of my site grow. Your personal information will always be kept out of any writing I do so you can consider your input to be anonymous to other readers.
