Match Up Shapes!

You are welcome to download any of the shape sets on our site at no charge! Just help yourself. These shape sets work with any version of Match Up starting with v1.2.

Starting with v1.3, you can even create your own shape sets. If you are interested in creating shape sets and having them available on this page for others to download, read the instructions located at bottom of this page.

To use these shape sets, simply download the files you are interested in. You can click on the links/pictures below or right click and select SAVE from the menu. Once the files are saved you need to double click on the file. Match Up will start up if it isn't already running (the program must be installed of course). The shape file you double clicked on will be inserted into the program.

Want Your Shapes Listed Here?

If you would like to have your shapes listed on this page simply follow the guidelines and instructions listed below. We would be happy to add your shapes to our site.

Guidelines

  • Images need to be acceptable to all viewers. This game is played by a lot of children so make the images G to PG-13 rated.
  • Images should be crisp and clear in the three main sizes. 32x32, 40x40 and 48x48. (all shown on the edit screen)
  • Image sets should be unique. Try not to reproduce sets that are very similar to those already on this page.
  • Only submit your own sets. Please don't submit shape sets that someone else created. They may not want it online.

Instructions

  1. Create your shape set and test it on all levels of game play. This is important because some shape sets look good on levels 3-5 but look really bad on levels 7-10.
  2. Save your shape set with a descriptive name.
  3. Right after saving your shape set rename the preview image file so it has the same base name as your shape set. This file is a .BMP file that is created in the same folder as the game program. (by default this is c:\program files\MatchUp\preview.bmp) If you don't find the picture there you may need to look around.
For example: If you called your shapes Fancy Rocks you will need to name the preview picture Fancy Rocks.bmp
  4. Go to our contact page and from there you can email us the shapes and preview files. The shapes file ends with ".muz" and looks like a page with the parot icon on it. The preview file ends with ".bmp" and could look like anything depending on how your machine is set up. Both should have the same name at this point except for the extension.
For example: Send us Fancy Rocks.muz and Fancy Rocks.bmp
  5. We will update this web page and then email you so you know the file is online.
