Buying memory for this HP De-branded computer can be a real pain because none of the online memory search tools that I was able to find recognize this number.

The memory in this computer was marked with the ID number MT8JTF25664AZ-1G4D1 and turned out to be available on several web sites. I ended up purchasing from www.crucial.com but you can find it on other sites too. Here are the specifications for this memory...

Manufacturer Micron Technology
Manufacturer Part # MT8JTF25664AZ-1G4D1
Memory Type DDR3 SDRAM
Capacity 2GB
Pins 240 Pin
Bus Type PC-10600
Error Correction Non-ECC
Cycle Time 1.5ns
Cas CL9
Data Transfer Rate 1333Mhz
Memory Clock 166Mhz
Rank Rank 1
Voltage 1.5

The computer itself is quite nice, very fast and easy to set up. Being that it was a de-branded computer basically means it was referbished and all of the HP specific attributes have been removed. The unit came with no OS which was fine with me because I installed Linux on it for free. If you are going to run Windows, know that 32 bit versions of Windows can only see 3 gig of RAM but Linux can see 4 gig when running a 32 bit OS. 64 bit versions of either OS can see a lot more memory.
